USA Today names Gathering Place as Best New Attraction

USA Today announced the Gathering Place as the winner of their 10Best Readers' Choice Awards for Best New Attraction in the nation this week.
“We at the Tulsa Regional Chamber congratulate the George Kaiser Family Foundation and all involved in making Gathering Place a reality for being named Best New Attraction by USA Today readers," said Mike Neal, president and CEO of the Tulsa Regional Chamber. "Our city and our entire region are extremely fortunate to be home to the kind of generosity and vision that leads to transformative projects like Gathering Place. I can think of no better way to celebrate our city’s 121st birthday than with a trip to the nation’s best new attraction.”
Tulsa's Gathering Place won despite competitive new attractions from New York, Chicago and Orlando.
