Goodwill Tulsa Works Career Academy (TWCA) provides training and the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials to people who are seeking employment and continuing education. Training specializes in four industries: information technology, forklift and material handling, private security and hospitality.
Green Country Workforce's On The Job Training fills the skills gap and allows new employees to be trained “on the job” by experienced employees. This provides job seekers with the work experience and skills training needed to successfully obtain and retain employment. The program covers 11 counties including Tulsa, Okmulgee, Creek, Pawnee, Osage, Wagoner, Muskogee, McIntosh, Cherokee, Adair and Sequoyah.
The OMA serves as the primary resource, advocate and voice for manufacturing in Oklahoma and is the go-to source for assessing needs and finding solutions available through public and private resources. The Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance has created the Manufacturing Workforce Committee, an industry-led workforce initiative to be a resource and give manufacturers the information and solutions they need to find great workers with the right skills for their companies.
Tulsa Community WorkAdvance (TCW) is a sector-focused workforce development initiative that is helping hundreds of Tulsa-area residents build stable and productive lives. TCW’s innovative approach works to understand employer’s skill gap needs and connect individuals to free technical training, full-time job placement and career advancement coaching.
Representing more than 2,150 member organizations and more than 178,000 workers, the Tulsa Regional Chamber is the primary driver of regional and individual prosperity in northeast Oklahoma. The Chamber develops and delivers a wide variety of programs and services designed to bolster and benefit Tulsa-area businesses of all shapes and sizes, from large corporations to small startups.
Tulsa Community College is the largest two-year college in Oklahoma. It serves approximately 25,000 students per semester in credit and continuing education classes.
TYPROS is one of the largest young professionals organizations in the country. The mission of TYPROS is to attract and retain young, creative talent to the Tulsa region, while also developing the next generation of leaders and enhancing Tulsa’s sense of place. TYPROS programming offers young Tulsans opportunities for networking, professional development and civic engagement.
Mosaic is the Tulsa Regional Chamber-led coalition of companies and nonprofit partners that celebrate diversity, champion equity and cultivate inclusion within the region’s business community. Mosaic seeks to leverage the region’s diversity to improve perceptions of our community and grow the economy.
